This past weekend, as I immersed myself in a gathering to commemorate a dear friend that recently passed, a serendipitous encounter reminded me of the true essence of connection.
I introduced myself to a new person at this get-together, and said “Hi I’m Tania, what’s your name” and she shared her name and said, "I'm on your email list."
But the magic didn't stop there. The very next day, as I embarked on a serene walk in nature, another encounter unfolded. A woman, with a warm and genuine demeanor, walked past me and I politely said hi and she responded "I get your weekly newsletter."
It was a moment of delightful serendipity—a reminder that our reach extends far beyond what we perceive.
Behind every open email, every responded message, and every watched video lies a person who has chosen to invest their precious time and attention in what we have to share.
In our quest for validation, it's easy to get caught up in the pursuit of vanity numbers—seeking higher follower counts, more likes, and a growing subscriber base.
However, let us not forget that these numbers represent individuals, each with their own stories, desires, and aspirations.
It's time to shift our perspective and recognize the immeasurable value of genuine human connection.
