Why Last Weekend Changed Everything For Me

When was the last time you said yes to something that felt both thrilling and terrifying? For me, it was just this past weekend when I had the honor of speaking at Women Lead Live in Denver. This wasn't just another event; it was a room filled with powerhouse women, each with a unique story, a bold vision, and the courage to stand on stage.

At Women Lead Live, I had the privilege of sharing the stage with two remarkable keynote speakers. One spoke about the rapidly evolving world of AI and how it's transforming industries, while the other delved into the brilliance of neurodivergent minds and how we can better understand and harness the power of different ways of thinking. Together, we created a unique sisterhood-a powerful circle of knowledge and support that inspired us to expand our own horizons.

What struck me most was the openness of the participants. Each woman I met had her own story, and she was ready to share it with the world. There was a palpable sense of sisterhood that went beyond just networking-it was about true connection. We weren't just exchanging business cards or ideas; we were supporting one another's growth and potential, rooting for each other in ways that can only happen when you're in the right room, with the right people.

Power of Saying Yes

The power of being in the right room cannot be understated. When you say yes to yourself and put yourself in these environments, something shifts. It's not just about learning new material or hearing powerful speakers; it's about stepping into your own potential and realizing what's possible when you surround yourself with women who are doing the same. That's the power of saying yes to yourself-when you make that decision, you open the door to new opportunities, new possibilities, and new connections that can transform your life.

Power of Connection

It was beautiful how our keynote speaking moments intertwined. Each of us brought a distinct message to the stage, but together we wove a tapestry of empowerment, knowledge, and possibility. As I spoke about amplifying women's voices through podcasting, I couldn't help but feel the energy of the room shift. The other speakers' insights into AI and neurodivergent minds expanded the conversation, showing how diverse perspectives create a richer, more inclusive world.

Lydia Knight, the host of the event, opened with a powerful talk about how our limiting beliefs often keep us from stepping into our fullest potential. She challenged us to recognize the barriers we create for ourselves and offered insights on how to dissolve those limitations. It was amazing to see how our talks all blended together, as if they were different pieces of the same puzzle, each one unlocking a new level of understanding and possibility.

By the time I spoke, the room was already buzzing with possibility. I had the opportunity to share my passion for amplifying women's voices through podcasting. Podcasting isn't just a platform; it's a movement. It's a way for women to reclaim their stories, to be heard, and to lead. As I looked out into the audience, I could feel the deep connection being made-not just to me, but between every woman in the room. The sisterhood was real, and it was growing stronger with every word spoken that day.

Power of Possibility

And then the last speaker closed the day with an eye-opening talk about neurodivergent minds. Her insights were not just about how to embrace different ways of thinking in the workplace, but also about how we can support and celebrate these differences in our personal lives. As a mother, I found myself reflecting on how my daughter thinks and expresses herself. I left that talk with a deeper understanding of how I can best support her in ways that honor her unique perspective and encourage her to thrive in her own way.

The beauty of this event was that each speaker's message seamlessly wove into the next, creating a rich tapestry of learning, connection, and possibility. From understanding the internal blocks that hold us back, to the advancements in technology, to embracing diverse minds, we were reminded that when we say yes to stepping into these rooms, we open ourselves to a new world of growth.

To your success and abundance,

Tania
