This past week, I’ve been thinking about what might have been—specifically when it comes to me and my business.
I used to run a studio with my husband and we went through this feast and famine phase for years, we’d get a project and get a big paycheck and then we’d go 2 months pulling from savings… does that sound familiar? Then in 2015, I invested in an expensive high-end mastermind, it was an investment in me!
That was the turning point in my career. It opened up a whole new world of entrepreneurship and from there on, I started to have 5 figure months, I grew my list, I started hosting live events, I worked with fantastic women, I met amazing colleagues and clients that have turned into long time friends….
Sometimes I wonder how different my life would have been if I’d made a different decision back then. And not only how much that would have changed my life—but also the lives of all the women that I’ve had a chance to impact.
If I wouldn’t have said yes to that 3-day event that my sister invited me to back in 2015, and I almost didn’t go because it required me to get out of my comfort zone, if I wouldn’t have joined this entrepreneurship world… where would I have been? Back at a job?
