Do you know what it takes to be successful? Like really successful?
Persistence... Being able to stay on top of your business, your health, your finances, your relationships, your actions, etc.
We are at the end of the year, I invite you to do a year review.
What areas of your life were you successful in? And if you didn’t achieve the goals you had set out to accomplish, what happened? What was missing? What could you do differently?
This isn’t about beating yourself up but instead observing, being a detective, becoming aware of what worked, what didn’t work, what you would do the same, and what you would do differently.
Here’s 8 ways to live your dream lifestyle and become successful:
1. Have a vision and visualize it.
Think about the future you want, what does your dream lifestyle look like? What does your ideal day look like? Once you know this, then visualise it.
Successful people focus on their vision of success and constantly have to aim and graft for. Unsuccessful people often think about what they can’t have, can’t get and can’t succeed at.
2. Be 100% committed.
Successful people are committed to achieving what they really want in their life, are you?
Are you willing to sacrifice your time and your energy to get what you want in your life?
Very (very) few people succeed in life by meer chance. Most people have to work hard, be committed and make real sacrifices to get ahead.
3. Be passionate
It’s hard to move forward and create your dream lifestyle if you’re not remotely passionate about what you’re doing. Know your big WHY?
You don’t have to LOVE your current circumstances, but you should be passionate about making them work as you’re striving for change.
Otherwise it’s too easy to procrastinate, do things half heartedly and quit.
Be passionate, have fun and bring joy to your new dream life.
4. Get out of your comfone and stretchrt zo
Many people are afraid to change. It makes them feel unsure and insecure.
In order to create your dream lifestyle you are going to have to stretch and embrace change. Like I tell my clients “Get comfortable in the uncomfortable” If you want to embrace your dream lifestyle you’ll have to take the risks that other people aren’t willing to – and no, they may not always work out. But when they do, you’ll reap the rewards.
5. Self-care comes first
Without a healthy bоdу and mind, it becomes much more difficult to maintain focus and drive. Our goals and aspirations can feel more and more distant.
Incorporate daily practices of exercise, having a well-balanced nutritious diet, practice stillness, gratitude and acknowledge yourself.
6. Do things differently and do different things
If you’re doing something and it’s getting you nowhere, it’s time to rethink, re-examine and re-tackle the problem or project.
The same goes for your dreams: ask yourself, if I keep on doing the same thing, will I achieve my goals and my dreams?
If your answer is a no, it’s time for you to change your approach.
Remember, Einstein said: “insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
