Fall Review

Here’s a fall review. I didn’t get to do a full September and October review so I combined both of them.

Business

It seems that I’m in an incubation stage with the business. I’ve been preparing for several new classes coming out in the new year. –– Stay tuned for more information––

One of our current guest speaker classes got canceled and we turned it into “Getting our affairs together” which has been eye opening!! I’m considering doing a mini workshop on this topic, maybe a couple of weekends where we all come together in community and get all that dreaded work: will, passwords, insurances, contact numbers, etc into one place, basically Getting our Affairs in Order to have peace of mind. –– If this is something you’d be interested in doing in community, please let me know so we can get you on our list for a future workshop. Just hit reply with “affairs” in the subject line

I’ve also been diving deep into crypto, this is also another class coming out in the new year. Again, if this is an area you’d like to learn more about how to invest in crypto, just hit reply with subject title “crypto” so that we can keep you updated.

Health

You might have read a bit about this in my last newsletter. In September when I got back from Spain, I realized I wanted to slow down a bit. This was an intuitive hit I got. I did my annual doctor’s checkup and found out that I’m severely anemic, again! This happened to me a couple of years ago and I had to get iron infusions at the hospital. Since I know I don’t want to have to do this again, I started working with a health and wellness coach, that happens to be my cousin. We’ve made some diet adjustments, added some supplements to support my liver, adrenals and iron supply. This will be a 6 week experiment to see if I can get my energy back up and avoid iron infusions. I believe in the wisdom of our bodies and I also believe that food, rest, nature and an overall integration of mind, body and soul, things will look better by next month.

Family

I love fall in Santa Fe! We got to do some annual traditions like going to see the aspens change colors. We found a new hike up in the mountains. We also decided to celebrate halloween this year. We had a small gathering of kids and did a bunch of fun activities for them: treasure hunts, tricks and treats, arts and crafts and got all dressed up for the occasion. I loved spending time together coming up with ideas, baking cookies for the party and getting into a new character.

Play, Creativity & Self Care

Self care is high on the list now so I can rebuild my energy reserves. I was already doing it intuitively since September just because my body was feeling it. It’s so important to listen to our bodies and act on what it needs. Every morning right now I wake up and ask myself “How do I feel? What do I want to do today? And what needs to get done today?” I can’t tell you how much more beneficial this is to start my day. I continue with my practices: exercise, meditation, journaling, card readings, visualizations, gratitude, etc.

The creative and play part came out during our Halloween party, I got so much joy out of dressing up, keeping my costume a secret until the day of. Decorating cookies with my daughter, planning the activities with my husband and then delighting in the kids games.

Relationships/Contribution/Spirituality

As I mentioned before, I continue to practice my gratitude and acknowledgements daily. I’m also practicing gratitude for all that I am and all that I have in my life. I also acknowledge myself on a daily basis and can’t go wrong with meditations and visualizations. If there’s a day that I skip this practice, I can really feel it.

I’ve been carving more time to spend with friends whether in person or zoom. It’s so important for my soul to be able to feel this connection and navigate this life journey together.

Finances

A lot of movement in the financial sector this fall. I’ve been taking several classes in crypto, which is great because a lot of this knowledge will get passed on to you if you’re interested in learning how to invest in crypto. I’m so excited about this new asset!!

I started investing small amounts, in a speculative way in 2017. Even with the volatility, the growth has been spectacular!!!

I’ve truly come to believe that it’s the money of the future and it’s here to stay! The way we are printing money out, here in the US, and the speed at which the dollar is being devalued I’ve been diving deep into learning what other ways I can build wealth to keep me and my family protected for the future.

Within the crypto world I’ve definitely had to have a beginners mind and know that I can’t grasp it all on the first round, there’s so many new concepts and ideas to wrap our minds around: blockchain, NFT’s, staking, liquidity pools, metaverse… being open to new possibilities and reminding myself that slow and steady wins the race. It’s all very new and exciting!

How about you, what have you been up to this September and October?

Sending much love!

Tania
